We are living in the age of climate disruption. Every day there's a delay or under-investment in action causes risk to people, communities and our environment.
NSW needs to phase out coal this decade and fast-track investment in renewable energy, while supporting households and businesses to make the transition and reducing the state’s reliance on coal and gas.
This is also a once-in-generation chance for investing in community resilience to adapt and mitigate the impacts of climate disruption. Strategic action today will cost less than emergency responses and quick-fixes in the future, with the added benefit of strengthening and growing social and physical community infrastructure.
