    Randwick Ritz Cinema

Join Greens Senator Peter Whish-Wilson and myself on 4 July for a special Plastic Free July screening of the Albatross documentary at Randwick Ritz cinema. Albatross is a powerful exploration of the impact of our plastic pollution on seabirds.

    Free Screening of Albatross documentary
    When: 7pm. Wednesday, 4 July
Where: Randwick Ritz Cinema, 45 St. Pauls Street, Randwick
Cost: Free screening, but Eventbrite RSVP essential

The film shows us the tragedy of young Albatross on Midway Island in the Pacific, fighting for survival after being accidentally fed plastic by their unknowing parents. The film shows the destructive power of our culture of mass consumption and the impact that has on the survival of our wildlife and planet.

As part of this special Plastic Free July screening, we will join with local environment groups, for a Q&A to discuss what is happening in Australia and throughout the world as part of the movement away from single-use plastics and over consumption.

Now is the time that for action to reduce plastic pollution and its impact on seabirds and marine life.
